Monday, August 4th, 2008Getting back in the groove today after a not-quite-roughing-it trip to the Mediterranean last week….that was the ride in the background. Google Launches Knol Project
Thursday, July 24th, 2008After living in private beta for the last few months, Google officially took the wraps off of Knol - a project being dubbed a “wikipedia rival” or “monetizable wikipedia” by some. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.
What’s a Knol, you ask?
Official definition: a unit of knowledge (or just short for Knowledge)

The show bills itself as “the voice of financial wisdom in today’s debt-ridden lifestyle.” Part of their success Dave’s no-nonsense advice dished out to those lucky enough to get through after waiting on hold all afternoon. My favorites are the [...]

World’s Biggest Drawing
Friday, June 27th, 2008This caught my eye recently. Swedish artist Erik Nordenankar claimed to have created the world’s biggest drawing. Using a GPS device nestled in a briefcase as his pen, and the word as his canvas he sent the briefcase via DHL on a journey around the world, with specific instructions on where exactly to ship the case [...]
