Microsoft Brings It With Phone Series 7
By Simpson Chris | February 16, 2010
Microsoft is getting tons of positive buzz for their total redo of their Mobile OS, called Windows Phone Series 7 (slightly more original than “iPad”). Gizmodo is calling it “the most groundbreaking phone since the iPhone.” Also check out GigaOm for “three challenges that remain.”
Couple of highlights that make their foray interesting:
- Fresh user interface – some comparisons to Zune, but different than anything else out there
- Tapping into huge xbox live community
- “People Hub” that shows streams of your friends’ social media activity from multiple services

@Intelligent Thinker – here’s what I think: Modern aesthetics is an aesthetic of the sublime, though a nostalgic one. It allows the unpresentable to be put forward only as the missing contents; but the form, because of its recognizable consistency, continues to offer to the reader or view matter for solace and pleasure. Do you agree?
