CardStar

Found a cool new iPhone app yesterday that promises to improve the alignment of my spine by decreasing my wallet size. The premise is simple – take all of your rewards club and membership cards and punch the numbers into the application. It then turns those numbers into a barcode that can be read by most handheld scanners.
I tried it out last night at Eco Fitness. A surprised employee was quoted as saying “Whaaaaat?”. I’ve now dropped 5 cards from my wallet that I no longer have to carry. Success.

Thanks for sharing this cool app. I must have 4 of those little cards strapped to my key chain. They are all nasty dirty too. Time to bag em.

In case you’re like Rich and wondering – no that isn’t my actual gym number. I changed a digit before screenshotting. Nice try though.
