Mr. Vegas at Catwalk for Kids
We just got back from the Catwalk for Kids show at Fashion Week…starring the one and only Mr. Vegas, Wayne Newton. After opening words about the great MUSC Children’s Hospital program, and a fundraising auction of 3 custom-designed handbags (Mary, Brett McKee and Wayne teamed up with youngsters to design different bags….Wayne’s sold for $4K), the legend took the stage for a mini Las Vegas review. He sang three songs, told some stories and a few jokes, and then closed with Danke Schoen. Was a nice event…and congrats and thanks to the Mary Norton team for putting on such a great benefit.
