Pecha Kucha Intersections

No question that the stars of PKN are the awesome speakers who share their stories, insights, inspirations, etc. But there’s also real magic in the connections and intersections. What if Guerrilla Cuisine hooked up with the City Design Center and Pure Theater to stage a public, collaborative dining performance? If Mary Norton and Diana Deaver worked together on an everyday fashion project? If Fish Restaurant and PDA set up an ongoing, interactive texting display at the bar/restaurant? Or if Mike Moran and Gil Shuler set out to find images of Elvis in reclaimed wood grain? The collaborative possibilities are endless…and that’s what we ultimately hope to spark.

    Robert,

Totally agree. PK shouldn’t just be about one single night. It’s a night that should provide the opportunity to build the relationships that enable all creatives to collaborate more, stretch more and create exponentially.

Ok, so you know I love this idea, but also just scrolled thru the story about the disposable/temporary chat room. Maybe we should start noodling about how to connect all the energized folks from PKN beyond the events? Maybe a virtual likemind or something or other? But of course it would have to be cool and fun and surprising and quirky… of course.
