Happy Birthday Mike!

Today we celebrated Mike’s day of birth with a fun-filled BBQ feast at Melvins. Because September 1 is the most special of days, we asked one of his heroes to stop by for singing and cake. Funny thing…the a/c is always cranking at Melvins so we all had to wear ski jackets. I only wish the photos could really capture the magic.

I’m not sure what’s weirder… the ski jacket, the random placement of shrek, or the sad, dejected, time-worn and emotionally beaten eyes that are staring out from the cutouts in shrek’s face.
