Sustainable Living in Charleston

By blueion | April 23, 2007

Not sure about you, but I hate driving by the newest residential development and cringing at acres of clear-cut land. Even better is when the developer saves that one scrawny tree in the middle - as if to say “look, we saved a tree!”

That’s why we’re thrilled to launch the official Web site Oak Terrace Preserve, a sustainable, “green” community in the heart of North Charleston’s Park Circle area.

Highlights of its traditional neighborhood design include: preserving the centuries-old oak trees, all Earthcraft-certified homes, 17 pocket parks, bioswales, top-notch local builders, and best of all, knowing your community as good for people as it is for the planet.

I really like it! The large images do their job and incredibly clean code - nice work guys.

    Thanks for the comments, Josh.

We have to give credit to BD for the code…he is always sanitary. JC gets the nod for the design.
